FreeSoul Mountain Club has been established with the objective of promoting the practice of sports in the nature, as well as to raise awareness of the extraordinary natural spaces that form part of Granada and Andalucia between the COMMUNITY OF OUR COWORKING. 
in Addition, FreeSoul is attached to the ANDALUSIAN FEDERATION OF MOUNTAIN SPORTS, so with us you will be able to federarte and to have accident insurance for all the activities we do.

🏞️ Valle de Lecrín & Water Adventure 🏞️

Hey hikers! Ready for an adventure? 💦🏔️

Here are the details for this Sunday’s planned route. It’s a refreshing day out in a magical spot in Valle de Lecrín, walking directly through the water and following two riverbeds.

The route is split into two parts:

1️⃣ Part one: Around 6.5 km and 250 m of elevation gain during the morning. We’ll finish just in time for lunch and a cold beer together 🍻.

2️⃣ Part two: After lunch, we’ll take on a shorter but equally stunning section: about 3 km and 180 m of elevation gain.

It’s an easy route, perfect as a warm-up for what’s to come. Although the total distance is short (~9.5 km and 430 m elevation gain), moving through water is done at an easy, relaxed pace.

🎒 Recommended gear:

  • Essential water footwear: secure hiking sandals or trainers with good grip for river walking (no loose flip-flops).

  • Dry shoes and a change of clothes to leave in the car.

  • Swimsuit, towel, and comfortable, quick-drying clothes.

  • Sunscreen and a cap ☀️.

  • Water (1.5–2 L) and food for the day.

  • Dry bag or waterproof pouch for your phone and keys.

🚐 TRANSPORT:

I’ll bring my van with 3 spare seats, but we’ll need extra cars for carpooling.

As usual, petrol costs are shared with the driver (typically a minimum of €5 per person).

🛡️ Accident insurance: Having cover is mandatory. If you have a mountaineering federation license, there’s no extra charge; if you don’t, taking out the 1-day accident insurance (€5) is required.
