FreeSoul Mountain Club has been established with the objective of promoting the practice of sports in the nature, as well as to raise awareness of the extraordinary natural spaces that form part of Granada and Andalucia between the COMMUNITY OF OUR COWORKING.
in Addition, FreeSoul is attached to the ANDALUSIAN FEDERATION OF MOUNTAIN SPORTS, so with us you will be able to federarte and to have accident insurance for all the activities we do.

⛰️ Sunday Hike - Los Cahorros de Monachil & La Solana Viewpoints ⛰️ – Sunday, October 4th
Hey hikers! Ready for the next adventure? 🥾🌿
Here are all the details for this Sunday’s hike! We're heading to one of Granada’s most iconic and exciting natural spots: the canyon of *Los Cahorros de Monachil*, completing an extended loop trail to stay away from the usual crowds.
We'll start by crossing the famous hanging bridges over the Monachil River and walking along the canyon floor right beneath vertical climbing walls. We are starting early to enjoy this section peacefully before peak hours. Afterwards, we’ll connect with the *Solana trail*, gaining elevation and enjoying sweeping views over Granada, its valley, and Sierra Nevada. And once we finish... cold beers and tapas together! 🍻 tapas
It’s an active and rewarding circular route, perfect for anyone with a basic fitness level used to mountain walking.
⚠️ *Important note:* Inside the gorge, we will traverse rock ledges equipped with iron handrails/handles. They do not require technical climbing, but you will need to crouch in a couple of spots and cross one by one with care.

🚐 *TRANSPORT:*
We will meet next to the office, a quiet cul-de-sac with easy Sunday parking. We’ll organize car sharing to optimize seats and split fuel costs with drivers (*usually €5 per person*).
📑 *Accident Insurance:*
Personal coverage is mandatory for the activity. If you hold a mountain federation license, you are already covered; if not, an official 1-day sports insurance policy is required (€5).
