The participant declares under their sole responsibility that:
-
They do not suffer from cardiovascular diseases, severe chronic respiratory conditions (such as uncontrolled asthma), epilepsy, decompensated diabetes, recent musculoskeletal injuries, or balance/vertigo disorders that could impair mountain hiking.
-
They are not undergoing any medical treatment that impairs their reflexes, coordination, or perception, nor are they under the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances.
-
They possess the necessary physical fitness to undertake the scheduled distance, elevation gain/loss, and duration of the route.
-
In the event of any relevant medical condition, allergy, or medication, they declare having informed the guide at least 24 hours prior to the start of the activity.
2. MANDATORY GEAR AND EQUIPMENT & RIGHT OF ADMISSION
-
Required Gear: The participant undertakes the obligation to arrive equipped with appropriate mountain footwear featuring adequate soles/traction (no flat-soled, running, or street shoes), technical clothing suited to weather forecasts (windbreaker/warm layers), sun protection, and a minimum self-sufficiency of water (minimum [1.5 / 2] liters of water) and food.
-
Right of Technical Admission/Exclusion: For the safety of the group and pursuant to the technical authority of the guide, the organizer reserves the right to refuse departure or remove from the itinerary any individual who lacks the mandatory minimum gear or displays evident sudden physical incapacity.
-
Consequences of Exclusion: In the event of non-admission or removal due to lack of equipment or participant negligence, the participant shall not be entitled to any compensation or refund of the fee paid. Any material damage or incident resulting from the use of defective or unsuitable equipment provided by the participant shall remain their sole responsibility.
3. INHERENT RISKS AND ASSUMPTION OF LIABILITY
-
The participant acknowledges that activities in natural environments carry inherent, unpredictable risks (sudden weather changes, rockfalls, uneven terrain with risks of tripping, slipping, stings/bites, or sprains).
-
The participant agrees to follow the guide’s instructions, pace, and safety guidelines at all times, to remain with the group, and not to leave the marked path without prior notice.
-
The participant voluntarily assumes the intrinsic risks of the activity and releases the guide from liability for any accidents, injuries, or property damage resulting from the participant’s own negligence, unforeseen circumstances (force majeure), concealment of medical conditions, or failure to comply with given technical directives.

-
Cancellation by the Participant: Once registration is completed and the spot is reserved, no refunds or reimbursements of the amount paid will be issued in the event of cancellation, sudden withdrawal, or failure of the participant to appear at the meeting point at the scheduled time, regardless of the reason stated. Registrations are strictly personal and non-refundable.
-
Cancellation or Modification by the Guide: Should weather conditions, official civil protection warnings, or force majeure prevent the activity from being carried out with adequate safety guarantees, the guide reserves the right to modify the route or reschedule the excursion to an alternative date. If the activity must be definitively cancelled by decision of the guide without possibility of rescheduling, the full amount paid will be refunded to participants.
5. ACCIDENT INSURANCE, HEALTHCARE, AND RESCUE SERVICES
-
Mandatory Coverage: Every participant in the activity must hold mandatory insurance coverage for accidental medical care and mountain search and rescue.
-
Coverage Arranged by the Guide: Unless the participant explicitly declares and proves otherwise pursuant to the following clause, accident and assistance coverage will be managed through the organizer upon prior payment of the fee designated for said policy.
-
Declaration of Independent Coverage (Federated / Private Insurance): If the participant declares holding a valid federation license or private policy and chooses not to pay for the insurance arranged by the guide:
-
It is the participant’s sole responsibility to verify beforehand that their insurance or federation card is valid, covers hiking/mountaineering within the territorial scope and date of the event, and explicitly covers search and rescue, evacuation, and medical/pharmaceutical expenses.
-
The non-payment of the insurance offered by the guide relies directly upon this voluntary and express declaration by the participant.
-
-
Assumption of Costs and Indemnification: In the event of an incident, rescue, evacuation, or requirement for medical care, if the participant had declared having independent insurance:
-
Any cost, public rescue fee (regional fees, emergency services/112, or GREIM mountain rescue units), hospital bill, or transfer expense not assumed or rejected by their insurer or federation shall be directly, fully, and exclusively borne by the participant.
